I have an item I no longer need, how do I give an item to a Freecycle member?
You will need to join a group before you can offer anything.
Refer to joining a group
When you are a member, you send an email (or post a message via the group website), to the group, with the following information :-
Subject: OFFER (your item) (your location)
Text/Body: Describe your item.
(Do not include your phone number / exact address in your email)
If someone wants your item(s), you can exchange contact information at that time.
I am looking for something. How do I ask the group ?
You send an email (or post a message via the group website), to the group, with the following information :-
Subject: WANTED (your item) (your location)
Text/Body: Describe the item you want .
(Do not include your phone number / exact address in your email)
If someone has the item you are looking for and no longer wants it, they will contact you and you can arrange to pick it up at that time.
You can exhange contact information with them at that time,
