If you are a member of a Freecycle™ group and need help, contact info@freecycle.org.


If you are the owner of a new group and you submitted the application but haven't heard back yet, please try to be patient. Our volunteer New Group Approvers (NGA) are working as hard as they can to get back to you. If it has been a couple of weeks and you've heard nothing, please feel free to contact ngacoordinator@freecycle.org about it.

If you are a group owner or moderator, the Freecycle Network has a Group Outreach & Assistance (GOA) team available to help. If you're in the USA or Canada, locate and contact your GOA team for your state or province.

Trademark Tips and Guidelines

We are a big grassroots movement but a tiny little nonprofit organization with a staff of one so defending our trademark takes many hands and hearts.

Quick tips: only use it as an adjective (Freecycle group, etc.) and never as a noun or verb, or morphed into another word (freecycler, freecycling, freecycle the couch, etc. are no-nos).
