Hello Freecycle(TM) Members!
It's that time of year for trick-or-treaters of all ages. Lets all dig into our closets/attic/garage, and see if we can find some of the following items to post as Offers in our group for a seasonal Halloween Challenge!!
Remember, our community is one of giving AND receiving! If you post a Wanted for a Halloween costume, please be so kind as to make an Offer as well (maybe last year's costume?)... or...
Example Offers:
- Costumes
- Clothes (for costumes)
- Patterns / fabric for costumes
- Sheets for our little ghost trick-or-treaters
- Pillow cases (make great candy bags!)
- Shoes / boots
- Shoe polish
- Wigs*
- Makeup and special effects items*
- Costume accessories (which could be almost anything!)
- Flashlights
- Decorations, indoor and out
- Hay, straw, or corn stalks
- String lights
- Candles
- Halloween-themed music
- Decorative bowls (that can be used for passing out candy)
- Party favors
- Unused party invites, envelopes, gift wrap
- Plates, cups, napkins, utensils*
- Unused garbage bags
- Coupons for party supply stores
- And... any other creative items you can come up with!!!
* take care that these things are in unopened/clean/sanitary condition, as appropriate.
