Emergency / Disaster Assistance for Local Groups

Emergencies defined
Natural disasters
such as toronado’s, hurricaines, wildfires, blizzards, and floods.

Personal emergencies
such as maternity leave, death of family or friend, illness, domestic issues. Anything that might take you from being able to moderate your group.

Vacation
This can be a going out of town vacation or that you just need a break from running your group.
For immediate assistance please contact: ERT@freecycle.org

If your group is in the path of a possible natural disaster you can contact the Freecycle Emergency Response Temps to have a temporary moderator assigned to your group so that it can continue to run should you or your moderators find yourselves without internet access.

You may do this by sending an email to ert@freecycle.org. Please include the link to your group that's the http part for example the main Modsquad is http://groups.yahoo.com/group/freecyclemodsquad/

The email address and name of the owner and/or moderators. This way the temporary moderator can contact you and know when to start approving messages.
