Will management stay the same for local groups if they stay with yahoo?
Yes. There may be some additional tools which you can take advantage of, or which members can, like a Message Maker tool, etc. But what you see is what you got in Yahoo.
Our goal is to create something much more tailored to Freecycle in a nonprofit environment, but if you stay in Yahoo, Yahoo Groups will be managed the same. We hope the new site will be so cool that one would be crazy not to wish to move over.
