Example #1 - Does Not Meet Freecycle Mission/Landfill Test

The Freecycle Network(TM) Mission Statement is as follows: "Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."

We at XXX Freecycle(TM) are attempting to keep all offers and wanteds in line with this statement. The primary purpose of Freecycle is to reduce waste and ease the burden our our landfills.

Because your post will not in any way assist with this, we will not allow it through to the list.

Thank you for your participation in XXX Freecycle(TM). Our main mission here is to keep tangible items out of the landfill. Unfortunately, your request does not meet the landfill test and therefore can not be posted to our Freecycle list. Thank you for your understanding.
