The Freecycle Network� is made up of individual groups across the globe. This branch is based in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, but membership is open to people from the surrounding area.
Freecycle� is a grassroots movement of people who are giving and getting stuff for free in their own towns. One rule: everything posted must be free. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, piano, or an old door to be given away, it can be posted. After that it is up to the giver to set up a pickup time for passing on the treasure.
Postings regarding animals are allowed, but please be cautious when giving away an animal.
