Message delivery via email settings.

Hi All.

Member`s email delivery setting to receive message emails is set to "No Emails" when a member first joins the group. This is because a lot of members give up using the group because of the large number of emails that can be sent in a day. Also lot of members do not use their PCs every day and the number of emails just keeps building up and up.

If you would like to change your email delivery then please log-in to My Freecycle and click on My Groups. Next to your group (or next to each group if you are a member to more than one group) is a drop down menu. On this drop down menu is the email delivery settings and a couple of other things members can do for themselves.

Click on the delivery setting you would like to have. (The setting that your email delivery is already set at will not be on the list.) Click on the email delivery setting you would like and click on "Make it so"

There is a digest email but it is still very new and is still being tested. Members can not set this for themselves just yet but the moderators can do this for you.

If you wish to have the digest email then please send an email to the moderator`s email address. poolsfreecycle@mods.freecycle.org with your "username & Digest email please" in the subject line of your email and we will happily set this for you.
