What Happened?

Hello, You have just joined the "new" Bury Freecycle (R) group. The moderator of the former Freecycle group for this area made a decision to leave The Freecycle Network and has renamed that group.

We're happy to welcome you and hope that together we can get on with the task of rebuilding our Freecycle community. We are a team of volunteers for Freecycle that helps groups like this find new local moderators. Then we will train and turn the group over to your local volunteer moderators. What you can do to help is to start looking for things you would like to offer up to the group and together we will get our Freecycle back up and running. Be creative! Open your closet and see what you can find up on the shelf or way back in the corners that you haven't used in a long time. Consider cleaning out all that stuff in your garage, basement, or shed that someone from Freecycle might be able to use. Tell your friends and neighbours how to join too! The more folks we have participating, the more fun it is, and the more stuff is kept out of landfills.
