What is it?
A Yahoo group dedicated to free transfer of unwanted goods in Edinburgh as part of the Freecycle™ movement (freecycle.org). Open to individuals and organisations wanting to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Keep it free, legal and appropriate for all ages. Our aim is to keep usable items from landfill, so please don't ask for a swap, a loan or ask for advice. For those, why not try the FreecycleEdinburgh cafe instead?
How do I join?
There are two ways:
- Through Yahoo. You'll need a Yahoo ID if you don't have one. If you join this way you can read messages on the web. Just click here.
- By email. This is easier, but you'll have fewer features. Just click here.
We now have handy plugins for the Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers to help you write your messages without forgetting the helpful bits. If you use one of these, please go here and install the appropriate one. You don't have to, but it'll make it easier.
