What is it?
The Birmingham, England group of The Freecycle Network® is open to all who want to "recycle" that special something rather than throw it away. Whether it's a chair, a fax machine, a stuffed purple octopus toy, a piano or an old door, feel free to post it. Or maybe you're looking to acquire something yourself! Nonprofit groups are also welcome to participate too! One constraint: everything posted must be free.
How do I join?
Birmingham UK Freecycle is currently a Yahoo Group with nearly 20000 members and over 1000 messages a week. To join Visit the Birmingham Yahoo!Group page
and click the “Join this Group!” button. It will lead you through the process.
We also have a Café discussion group, go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/birmingham_freecycle_cafe to join. Have fun, and keep up the Freecycle work!
