Email Delivery Options:

When you sign up for Freecycle(TM) at my.freecycle.org you are able to set your email preference. Email preference determines the method you use to stay current with OFFER and WANTED Posts. Your options for email deliver include: 1) No emails apart from ADMINs; 2) An email for each Post made; and 3) A digest of 25 Posts.

"No emails apart from ADMINs" is just that; you will not receive emails for any OFFER or WANTED Posts. You will have to go to the my.freecycle.org website and login to read the Posts. You will, however, receive ADMIN messages sent to the group. If you choose "An email for each Post made", you will receive individual emails for each OFFER or WANTED Post made, along with ADMIN messages. Choosing "A digest of 25 Posts" will group the Posts into digests containing 25 messages. Depending on the current activity level of the group, you may receive one or more digest daily, or if activity is light you may receive a digest only once every few days.

The default email preference for the Laveen-South Phoenix Freecycle group is "no emails". So, if you do not actively change your email preference, it will be automatically set to "no email" for you. This means that, unless you change it, you will have to go to my.freecycle.org and login in order read the OFFER and WANTED Posts.

If you would like to change your email preference, here's how to do it in five easy steps.

1} Go to my.freecycle.org and login to continue. 2} Below the my freecycle logo, on the "My Groups" tab. 3} Below the ADMIN messages for the Laveen-South Phoenix group you will see an options box labeled "Email preference". on the box; a dropdown list of available options will appear. 4} on the email preference of your choosing. 5} the "Change delivery option" button.

Be sure you click the "Change delivery option" button to save your preference, and that is all there is to it!
