How do I post an offer or a wanted?

Login my.freecycle.org

*Click on the my groups tab *Click on Middlesex *Click on Post tab (should be the last one on right) *Fill in the boxes & click Make this post on the bottom

How do I post something as taken or received?

If you are already logged in at the Middlesex Group site:

*Click on my groups on the top right side. Make sure to click my groups & not a group name. OR click on My Freecycle, if you get a drop down box you can just click on My Posts. *Click on the My Posts tab *Find the post & change it by the drop down box.

If you are not logged into My Freecycle:

Login my.freecycle.org

*Click on the my groups tab *Click on the My Posts tab *Find the post & change it by the drop down box.

Some items to note:

-The description box is limited to 500 characters. -Please change or delete your posts because this will remove them from the site & make it much easier to search for items. (A search feature should be up & running by the end of the month). -There normally is a lag from posting to receiving the emails. It might be a good habit to check the site & not rely on emails. This is more of a site hands on experience & not an email experience as you were used to with Yahoo. -Pictures can be added when you post, there is no way to add a picture after you post. If you need to add a picture, delete your first post & resubmit.

To change email delivery preferences or leave the group:

Login my.freecycle.org

*Click on the my groups tab *Under the group name will be email preferences & a drop down box *Click on change delivery option box, to the right of the drop down box *There will be a leave the group button below the email preference box
