ALL MEMBERS PLEASE READ

As we are transitioning to the new site, all members are on moderated status. The new site is fairly easy to navigate but we want to make sure everyone has a firm grasp on how to post and respond here. We also need to be sure that everyone is still following the group rules. Once the majority of members from the old group have signed up here, we will begin moving folks off of moderation.

So, if your post doesn't show up immediately, this is why. Also, as with any new website, there are glitches. Things that are posted never show up, get lost in cyberspace, etc. Please be patient as the good folks at Freecycle(tm) are working diligently to resolve bugs and kinks as they arise.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact one of your mods. We are more than glad to help. Just remember that we do have lives outside of Freecycle(tm). We do our best to respond in a timely manner. Sometimes life just does not permit that and we apologize in advance for any frustration.

Just sort of an FYI...I work 11am-9pm Mon-Thurs and 8am-noon on Saturday. During these times I can not check the group. I do my best to check it before I leave for work (10am) and when I get home (10pm). Friday is usually the day I have the most time to dedicate to the group. I promise that you are not being ignored if your post doesn't show up right away or if you do not get an immediate response to your questions/concerns. We will reply and will moderate as quickly as our schedules allow.
