Freecycle groups are run by locally based volunteer moderators.

The first UK Freecycle group was set up in London in Oct 2003. There are now 486 groups spread across the country, with 1,487,765 members!

Northamptonshire Freecycle® Groups

Welcome!

Freecycle is a great way for people with unwanted items to get in touch with others who can make use of them, thereby reducing the amount of waste we as individuals create. The special thing about Freecycle is that everything is offered for free!

There are a great many items that charities are unable to accept for reselling. Such items are perfect for rehoming via Freecycle. However, local charities and non-profit organisations are positively welcomed to join to
request specific items they need.

Freecycle is a growing worldwide movement, with millions of members working together to reduce waste and help others.

The following Freecycle groups cover the county of Northamptonshire. Although you are free to join any, please choose one as your `home' group, the one in which you spend most of your time and please post your messages there initially. It is part of the ethos of Freecycle to help one's local community first.

Important: Please leave at least 48 hours between postings onto each of your next nearest groups.
