We all love free stuff, don’t we? There are a lot of good folks out there that want to recycle their unwanted items instead of throwing them away. This is extremely good for the planet, and for college students looking for furniture to decorate their first apartment too. Spring cleaning is around the corner, so when you start sorting out stuff in your basement, keep in mind that there are locals in your area who would love to take those items from your hands.

Free Cycle: I recently told you about FreeCycle , a website where eco-friendly citizens recycle their unwanted items by giving them away to others. Users can find some pretty cool items in their area, and all you have to do to get it is reply to the ad. All items listed are free, so you can either give or get neat stuff.
