FreeCycle is a non-profit, grassroots organization created in Tucson, Az in 2003. The group, based entirely on the Internet, promotes recycling items, which are no longer in use.

“The mission and purpose of FreeCycle is simple,” said Sandy Courrege, moderator of the New Iberia FreeCycle Group. “It is to keep useful items out of the landfill by giving people an outlet to find people that want to use them.”
