Freecycle.org. Watch out Craigslist. Freecycle has a similar principle as Craigslist’s “wanted” and “free” sections, but we think it’s more easily organized. And it will e-mail you updates, so you don’t have to keep refreshing the page. This grassroots, nonprofit Web site is all about sharing (aw, so sweet), and keeping stuff out of landfills. Membership is free, with more than 4 million users. Best of all, it’s an easy way to get free stuff — and get rid of junk you no longer need.
