Members of the public are invited to join a new “Green Committee” being launched by the Windsor Chamber of Commerce. The purpose of the committee will be to increase awareness and learn more about how businesses, residences and individuals can “go green” to help sustain the earth.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jane Garibay said this week there is a wealth of information just waiting to be tapped. For example, she said, people can check out freecycle.com to give or acquire items for free.
