While we appreciate your desire to share the circumstances behind your request for this item(s), please understand that no member should ever be made to feel they have to be *in need* of an item in order to request it. 

 

We are not here to determine need, only to keep things out of the landfills and find new homes for them, for whatever reason. 

 

In addition, sharing too much personal information is a safety risk. Although we would all like to think that the people associated with Ashford Freecycle are good and conscientious people, you can never be sure. By giving out personal information, people can find your vulnerabilities and take advantage of them.
