Scam alert - don't click on links
A number of freecycle groups worldwide are reporting a scam with a link to a page asking for credit card information. Freecycle never asks for money to be exchanged. This is why the Oakland group discourages posters from putting links into your posts. It gives us moderators more work if we now need to verify every post that has a link in it. It also delays posts you make from showing up until we approve the post.
