Once an item has been marked as TAKEN, members can no longer exchange messages on the platform.
It's advisable to mark items as TAKEN only when the item has been physically taken/collected by the taker.
To avoid problems with communication you may ask those responding to add their phone number or email to their response message so you can arrange collection via phone/email. This way you can still arrange collection via phone/email but the phone numbers or email address are not publicly visible for security reasons.
